Our History

Connexion Point is founded on 35 years previous experience from Anacomp EMEA MVS Group, a subsidiary of Anacomp Inc. Anacomp was founded in 1968 in Indianapolis USA as a Computer Services Organisation providing bureau services to the local business community. The company grew through acquisition, the most significant being Datagraphix. This company manufactured Computer Output to Microfiche (COM) laying the foundations for Anacomp's development of a worldwide engineering services organisation. The success of these products allowed Anacomp to place highly skilled engineers in North America and EMEA to support sales of COM products.

Anacomp established a worldwide Multivendor Services group to offer independent support to worldwide OEMs that needed break/fix services. The MVS Group was founded in 1996 both in US & EMEA.

In 2008, the Anacomp board decided to sell the MVS Group. The EMEA division was sold to Connexion Point in 2008 and the US division was sold to Decision One (D1) in 2009. Since the sales of both Anacomp MVS subsidiaries to their new owners, Connexion Point and D1 continue to work together to support worldwide contracts.
